Dream:

In this dream, I was standing next to an older white woman with full, neck length, hair. The place where we stood in the dream was unfamiliar to me and the details unclear. The woman started telling me about the song, “Making My Way Back to You” and the man who wrote it, who she pointed out in the distance sitting at a kitchen table with (perhaps his family). I remember thinking in the dream that this wasn’t true. What I knew growing up was the ”The Spinners” singing that song. So, I thought she was incorrect. The man was white with a short 50’s style haircut. Later, I learned it was “Working MY Way Back to You” by The 4 seasons and later The Spinners. End of this dream. End of this account.

What does it mean?

The LORD was making a comparison with this song and our attitudes as Americans. As in the song, we took our rights and liberties for granted, forsaking GOD and engaging in all levels of immoralities, until we found ourselves on the brink of loosing all our freedoms. Also, as in the song, the girlfriend having too much PRIDE to take her cheating boyfriend back—today’s PRIDE community has violently taken a stance they won’t give up to get our country back. But, we continue to work our way back for the love of our country and what we could win in the end with GOD at the helm. It is the realization that, because we’re living with the pain of our gross errors, we now understand how we let it all get away and we’re paying everyday for it. The good news for us is….the LORD had this song in mind as a recovery and soothing balm to heal what was broken. The key component is, not only are we sorry, but the LORD sees that we’re sorry and is beside us—behind the scenes working to recover our nation again.
